    oh how i yearn to find this sweet sweet girl a home.  i met her at the Oregon Humane Society Doggie Dash and she stole what was left of my heart.

    her foster mommy said she that although she is a big hound girl, she is most likely to be seen hunting a spot on the sofa than yonder wild things.

    She has been in foster care for a long while…it’s time.. she need a home.

    She is available for adoption thru Family Dogs New Life, a fantastic no kill shelter here in portland.

    lastest not leastest… part III of one of the best mornings i have had in a long time.

    Thanks to the Oregon Human Society for the work they do to End Petlessness and to EVERY pup and people that came out. Over $315,000 was raised and about 6,000 participated.

    My heart is full… thank you all!

    aw.. bubs too tired after the big walk? nope.. i found out that he was just WAY too in love with that dalmation to even walk a straight line ... obsession thy name is dalmation

    these sweeties belonged to a couple of the vendors i met. Dallas is on the left, and i feel sheepish.. but i can't remember the collie's name.. sorry beautiful

    i know right?! the paws? edible! This is rosebud a basset + dauchsund mix

    oh Charlie! look at those eyes... This baby is the sweetest lump of furr. He adores puppies and little dogs.. like ADORES them and wants to take care of them. what a bean of love. sigh.

    pups in jammies? what's not to like?!

    'can i have one mum.. huh huh.. can i? pllleeeeeze....'

    remember the bub being carried? well this is right before they see that their beloved dalmation is playin in the frisbee toss. then, yeah.. they spotted him

    the pugs mama had the best line. "pugs, they are like potato chips....you can't have just one" tee hee. :)

    LOVE that collar and the accessories! The collar is made from old bike tire and the best part? it doubles as a bottle opener.

    no yammering….just enjoy this next batch of lovely furr babies.

    wearing my perfume 'puppy snack' again... i attracted all kinds of attention sitting at eye level to the pups as they headed out on the dash.

    'come on, come on, come on.... let's go, let's go let's go!!!'

    'you ok? you are sitting down... can i get something for you? a snack? water? call someone??'

    'hi... this is my owner..we're walking'
